The Future, Today.

I’m Jack, an innovation strategist and design futurist.

I currently work as a Strategy Director at Jam3, a global experience design agency where I lead research, strategy, and the design of innovative experiences and new offerings for global brands including EA, Adidas, Facebook, PepsiCo, VISA, and Google. During my time, the company tripled in size, won 2020 Digital Innovation Agency of the Year, and was acquired by Media Monks.

On the board of the Design Futures Initiative, I spread futures-oriented creative practices through our annual conference, PRIMER, and our international network of meet-ups, Speculative Futures. Most recently I have designed a curriculum to teach Design Futuring in partnership with the Kedge Futures School.

Formerly, I was a Lead Design Strategist at the Future Company where I led projects for system transformation and social impact. While there I helped launch the National Innovation Service.

I received my MFA in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons School of Design. After graduating, I continued at Parsons, teaching design research, sustainable business strategy and systems-thinking in the Strategic Design and Management program.

Outside of my work in strategy and design, I am an avid traveller, a trained chef and occasionally I moonlight as a stand-up comic.
